This specially curated Republic Day Cycling Expedition takes riders across the scenic Aravalli Range, connecting the royal city of Udaipur with the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort, the architectural marvel of Ranakpur, and the historic battlefield of Haldighati.

The route offers a perfect blend of challenging climbs, rolling countryside roads, forest sections, and heritage-rich destinations. Riders will pedal through ancient temple towns, witness breathtaking mountain landscapes, and experience Rajasthan beyond its palaces and deserts.

Whether you are an experienced endurance cyclist or an adventure enthusiast looking for a unique riding experience, this expedition promises memorable roads, rich cultural encounters, and the satisfaction of conquering over 300 kilometres across one of India's most scenic cycling regions.

  • We will arrive in Udaipur by afternoon and check into our hotel.
  • The day is intentionally kept light, giving us the space to settle in, relax, and ease into the experience.
  • Β·We will then come together for a bike check and orientation session, ensuring everything is tuned, ready, and set for the days ahead.
  • In the evening, we will explore the beautiful city of Udaipur. We will walk through its lively markets, enjoy the views of its famous lakes, and experience the local culture, food, and charm that make Udaipur known as the City of Lakes.
  • We will wrap up the day with dinner overlooking Fateh Sagar Lake and mark the beginning of a journey we will ride together.
Β· After dinner, we will then head back to our rooms, rest well, and sleep well. As tomorrow, first day of cycling awaits.

  • Route: Udaipur β†’ Eklingji β†’ Nathdwara β†’ Gadhbor β†’ Kumbhalgarh

  • We begin our day early in the morning from Udaipur after breakfast.
  • As we flag off from the City of Lakes, the route takes us through the scenic countryside of the Aravalli Range.
  • We will head towards Eklingji, one of Rajasthan's most revered temple complexes dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Continuing onward, we ride towards Nathdwara, a famous pilgrimage town known for the Shrinathji Temple.
  • The roads here pass through vibrant local communities, offering a glimpse into the culture and daily life of rural Rajasthan.
  • After Nathdwara, the route heads towards Gadhbor, where riders will enjoy beautiful countryside views, rolling terrain, and stretches of open roads surrounded by the Aravalli hills.
  • After covering around 60 kms, we will take a lunch break, where riders can relax and get recharged to cover the remaining day.
  • As the day progresses, the terrain gradually becomes more challenging with a series of steady climbs leading towards Kumbhalgarh.
  • Riders will be rewarded with stunning views of forests, valleys, and rugged mountain landscapes.
  • Regular hydration, nutrition, and support stops will be available throughout the route to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience.
  • By late afternoon, we arrive at Kumbhalgarh, home to the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort, famous for having one of the longest fort walls in the world.
  • After checking into the hotel, riders can relax, recover, and enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere before dinner.
  • Evening briefing for the next day's ride followed by an overnight stay in Kumbhalgarh.

  • After an early breakfast, we begin our ride from Kumbhalgarh and descend through some of the most scenic roads in the Aravalli Hills.
  • As we make our way towards Ranakpur, riders will enjoy smooth stretches of road surrounded by natural beauty and peaceful countryside landscapes.
  • The route is known for its gentle descents, making it one of the most enjoyable cycling days of the expedition.
  •  We arrive at Ranakpur, home to the world-renowned Ranakpur Jain Temple, one of the finest examples of marble architecture in India. Built in the 15th century, the temple is famous for its intricate carvings and beautifully crafted pillars, making it a must-visit destination in Rajasthan.
  • After spending time at Ranakpur and taking a well-deserved Lunch break, we begin our return journey towards Kumbhalgarh.
  • The return ride presents a different challenge, with a series of rolling sections and gradual climbs through the Aravalli landscape.
  •  Support vehicles, hydration points, and refreshment stops will be available throughout the day to ensure a safe and comfortable riding experience.
  • Upon reaching Kumbhalgarh, we will visit the Kumbalgarh fort.
  •  The late evening will be free to unwind, share ride experiences with fellow cyclists, and prepare for the final day's ride back to Udaipur.

  • Route: Kumbhalgarh β†’ Gogunda β†’ Haldighati β†’ Udaipur
  • After an early breakfast, we begin our Republic Day Ride from Kumbhalgarh.
  • We will start with a 60km downhill ride.
  • The route takes us through the legendary Haldighati Pass, the site of the famous Battle of Haldighati fought in 1576 between Maharana Pratap and the Mughal forces.

  • Continuing onward, we cycle through Gogunda, a historic town that once served as an important centre during the reign of Maharana Pratap.
  •  Riding through this historic terrain is a memorable experience that connects cyclists with Rajasthan's rich heritage and warrior spirit.
  • The route then gradually descends towards Udaipur, offering beautiful countryside views, smooth roads, and a rewarding finish after four incredible days of cycling.
  • Throughout the ride, support vehicles, hydration points, and refreshment stops will be available to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • We will arrive in Udaipur before evening.
  • Temporary rooms will be arranged for relaxation and change, giving us time to freshen up after the ride.

As this ride is designed to explore mountains so only 2 types are cycles are allowed, MTB cycles or MTB focused hybrid cycles with minimum tire width of 700*45C. No other type of bike is allowed like road or rigid fork hybrid to ensure the safety of each rider.

As we have multiple cycle to offer on rent for all sizes ranging from S to XL, so you will get the cycle of right frame size for your ride.

We give only cycle to ride all other mandatory items and accessories you want on cycle you have to bring yourself.

You will get the cycle on rent a day before start of ride. You will get your cycle at in the same hotel where you will be staying on day one of tour.

Yes, you can do that and our team will be there to make sure you get the best experience of riding. As our team is of qualified and experienced riders team so they will help you to understand how much to push the limits and when to take a back seat in support vehicle.

There are no as such defined timelines to cross any checkpoints but at the same time rider should be riding at an average pace of 8-9 km/hr in mountains to finish the full ride on saddle. If you will not be able to manage this pace, no need to worry our support team will be there to pick you from Point A to Point B and you can again continue your ride from there.

Rooms shall be allocated after 12 pm by Hotel on the day of tour beginning. So any time post it you can check in and ask at reception about your room number.

Yes FIRST-AID shall be provided immediately to the rider as and when needed. If in case any critical emergency rider needs to visit the hospital that shall be taken care of by us. But the expense of the hospital shall be taken care of by rider only.

Yes, this shall be provided to confirmed riders post registrations process gets completed.

1) It is compulsory to wear a helmet for the entire duration of the ride. Riders without a helmet will not be permitted to ride. 2) Every rider must use their own lights for riding in dark times, bicycles must be equipped with front and rear lights attached firmly to the vehicle. Lights must be fully functional. If lights will not be working you are not allowed to ride. 3) All riders must wear a reflective vest that clearly places reflective material prominently on the front and back of the rider. If you will not be wearing reflective vests you are not allowed to ride. 4) This ride is open to any amateur cyclist regardless of his or her cycling affiliations. Riders (under the age of 18) must get a consent form signed by his or her parent or legal guardian 5) Each rider must be covered by liability insurance, either by a group policy or by a personal policy. 6) Our Sikh brothers – We have RELAXED THE MANDATORY HELMET RULE for Sikh Riders. But the rider must either wear a full Turban and not just a Patka.
