Tour Overview

Who doesn’t want to be at the top of the world? The Chandrashila Mountain peak can make this happen for you. Chandrashila treks are one of the most popular treks among Indian trekking enthusiasts. The trek to the peak is 5 km. The trek route that starts from Chopta takes one to Tungnath. Well, it’s not the highest peak but a moderate trek via Tungnath to Chandrashila is worth it. Watching other beautiful peaks like Nanda Devi(7,817m), Trishul(7,120m), Kedarnath(6,831m), Bandarpunch(6,316m) and Chaukhamba(7,138m) from Chandrashila peak will make you feel blessed. Tungnath is always the starting point of the Chandrashila summit trek and it is the highest Shiva Temple in the world, at a height of 3,680 meters.
